Jesus told them: "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."
Matthew 17:20
Matthew 17:20
If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing is impossible. Do you know how small a mustard seed is? Just google that for a second. We don't know if you're a believer or a nonbeliever, but this is extremely powerful. Even if God can sense a little bit of faith in you, the smallest bit, He will act on it. If you're lost and confused, have faith that He will show you the way. You also need to have faith in yourselves.
The other day, Jenny's accounting professor told her class that none of them would be millionaires. Not one. The whole class giggled, shrugged their shoulders, gave in, and agreed...except Jenny. Who is he to tell students what they're capable of and what they're not capable of? Who is he to say that each student could only attain a certain level of financial success? Is it really so crazy to believe that each of us could be millionaires if we worked hard enough and took some chances? The most successful people in life, including many millionaires, took a leap of faith and proved that they could do what no one else would. That accounting professor may be preventing students from even trying to accomplish a higher level of success.
Now this post isn't about money. Money doesn't make you happy and it won't amount to anything in the end. Money doesn't even mean you're successful. We're just trying to give an example. Anything is possible...with God. That's the important part: with God. Don't let anyone tell you you're not capable of following a dream because as long as God is front and center in your plans, he will provide you with a will and a way. It's all about your motives as well. If you want to get rich to get rich, you're not helping anyone. Don't be selfish. Always plan your dreams with God in the mix and know that what you aspire to do has a purpose for good.
